I purchased this lotion to try for my dry, sensitive, eczema prone skin as I’ve been on the hunt for a vegan and cruelty alternative to Aveeno baby. I was so excited to receive this lotion as it had a bunch of great reviews. As soon as it arrived, I tested it on my hand and right away I knew the smell would be an issue for me. I used it on my body this morning for the first time and the smell again bothered me, but I figured I’d at least give it a try. It seems to moisturize well, my skin felt soft which is good. However once I put a bit on my face, my whole face began to burn and broke out in red patchy hives. I had to wash it off my face and apply a different moisturizer to soothe my skin. I rarely ever get allergic reactions to lotions so I was shocked as to what caused it:/ I’m going to re gift this lotion to a family member sadly. Maybe if it was unscented it’d be better, although I still think I’m allergic to something in the lotion.

I was skeptical, but this product works! I have used it on random dermatitis or rash flare-ups when I didn't know what it was and didn't want to use a steroid on it, and at the very least it brought the inflammation down so that I wouldn't make it worse, which often times would be all that my skin needed to start the healing process. Thanks for this product!

Although I have read many reviews on the scent of this lotion, it is the only thing that works for my son’s dry skin. The scent is heavy, but we enjoy it, and it does not seem to irritate his skin more, but rather soothe. I’ll forever buy this product.

It smells funny, reminds me of a car oil smell?!I can’t put my finger on it, that’s the only complaint I have. On the brighter side it goes on nice and feels good , just not loving the smell.

I’ve been using Family Remedy for many years. It’s awesome for calming the itch of insect bites, relieves rashes on my super sensitive skin, even helps minor bruises clear up faster. I’ve shared it with a friend who shaves his head and face, and he swears by it for preventing razor burn. A little goes a long way, so don’t be deterred by the price.

This lotion is awesome! I get cracks in on the sides of my mouth and I used it twice and the cracks were gone. I love that it’s has 8 uses.
I used it on my legs for my exema and the redness is finally going away. I’ve tried everything to help take the red out off my legs and this definitely works. My son gets extremely dry cracked back of his hands and after starting this his hands are getting softer,

This cream is a miracle worker! Thus has saved me from so many accidents this summer from bee stings to sun burn to cut up knees to even my dogs allergic reaction. This cream fixes it all. I particularly find this family remedy cream useful right now.In a time where we are constantly applying and reapplying hand sanitizer our hands are getting dry and cracked this cream stopped all of this for myself and my family and I have no doubt it would do the exact same for anyonelse.

I love this cream for dry patches and itchy spots, works somewhat on bug bites but is better for dry itchy skin I sometimes get on my elbows. Works well.

I have been using this cream for about 5 years, starting i. The middle east then Europe now US. Because of climate changes and lifestyle/ food changes, it always has been my life saver as my skin overreacted or got extremely itchy and dry and nothing else would work. Now the reason why I am giving it less stars is that it always has been smelling intense and not to everybody’s liking but I didn’t mind it. But this last tube I ordered smells so different from all the other’s I’ve ever had. So unpleasant and almost gone bad that I am feeling repelled by it and struggle using it. I wonder if this is a bad batch or if something was changed about the product.
